# NXSLED room-fit and project brief

Editable customer worksheet · Version 1.0 · 2026-09-12

Complete a copy in your secured project workspace. This is a discovery document, not an installation design or automated engineering recommendation. Leave unknown fields marked “Unknown”; do not replace missing measurements with render dimensions.

## A. Project and intent

| Field | Response |
|---|---|
| Project reference / revision / date | |
| Customer / site / authorized contact | |
| Category of interest | |
| Selected application(s), if any | |
| Intent: information / demo / design / budget / service | |
| Primary task or problem | |
| What a successful daily workflow looks like | |
| Required decision date / desired operating date | |
| Budget guardrail, if customer wishes to share | |
| Stakeholders: user / facilities / IT / purchasing / approver | |

**Customer notes — preserve verbatim when application selections change:**

`[Write notes here. A new selection adds context; it does not replace this field.]`

## B. Room and site fit

| Measurement / condition | Value and units | Evidence source / date | Verified by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Usable display width × height | | | |
| Finished room width × depth × clear height | | | |
| Nearest / typical / farthest viewer | | | |
| Seated and standing eye heights, if relevant | | | |
| View angles and obstructed seats | | | |
| Indoor / outdoor / sheltered exposure | | | |
| Daylight direction / shading / operating periods | | | |
| Existing wall / structural support information | | | |
| Front / rear service access and clearances | | | |
| Delivery path, doors, loading and lifting constraints | | | |
| Available electrical infrastructure | | | |
| Network and source connectivity | | | |
| Heat, sound or acoustic sensitivities | | | |
| Occupancy, accessible-route and exit constraints | | | |
| Landlord / site / sign approvals to investigate | | | |

## C. Content and integration

- Typical content: `[small text / dashboards / presentations / video / art / interactive / other]`
- Representative content approved for testing: `[file reference or description; no public credential links]`
- Source systems and owner: `[complete]`
- Source resolution / frame rate / number of simultaneous windows: `[complete or unknown]`
- Camera/recording use and intended cameras/lenses: `[complete]`
- Live interaction, gaming or simulation requirement: `[complete]`
- Content update frequency and approver: `[complete]`
- Required operating hours and source-failure behavior: `[complete]`
- Sensitive information and permitted handling: `[complete]`
- Licenses / subscriptions / publication rights to verify: `[complete]`

Pixel pitch affects pixel density, cost and useful viewing distance; actual readability also depends on content and the viewer. Review representative material at the intended scale before final selection. [Planar viewing-distance reference](https://www.planar.com/media/439462/understanding-viewing-distance.pdf)

## D. Shortlist and alternatives

| Option | Use case | Fit advantage | Constraint / unknown | Evidence status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NXSLED candidate A | | | | |
| NXSLED candidate B | | | | |
| LCD or projection comparison | | | | |

Compare complete installed systems, including structure, audio/processing, content, service and recurring licenses. A cheaper display component is not necessarily a cheaper complete solution.

## E. Demonstration agreement and visit record

- One question the demo must answer: `[complete]`
- Required content and consent reference: `[complete]`
- Success criteria agreed before test: `[complete]`
- Date / actual configuration / operator: `[complete]`
- Attendees and roles: `[complete]`
- Test conditions and viewing positions: `[complete]`
- Results and limitations: `[complete; not tested where no evidence]`
- Customer feedback in their own words: `[complete with permission]`
- New questions and owners: `[complete]`
- Content return/deletion action and confirmation: `[complete]`

## F. Concept visualization request

- Customer has authority to share the photograph / plan: `[yes / no / unknown]`
- Photograph reference and allowed use: `[complete]`
- Measurements used for scaling and their verification status: `[complete]`
- Concept screen boundary and estimated service zone: `[complete]`
- Camera viewpoint / known perspective limitations: `[complete]`
- Required label: **Concept visualization — scale and installation subject to site verification.**
- Marketing reuse permitted separately: `[no by default / written permission reference]`

## G. Business-case worksheet

Select benefits the customer can actually measure. Avoid adding overlapping benefits twice.

| Customer input | Downside | Base | Upside | Source / owner |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Annual affected jobs, meetings or sessions | | | | |
| Hours saved per affected activity | | | | |
| Customer-approved value per hour | | | | |
| Other incremental contribution, separately justified | | | | |
| Annual operating and subscription cost | | | | |
| Initial complete installed cost | | | | |

Annual net quantified benefit = affected activities × hours saved × approved hourly value + separately justified incremental contribution − annual operating cost. Keep speculative benefits outside the quantified total. A simple payback calculation is meaningful only with positive supported net benefit and does not capture financing, tax or time value; finance review may be needed. This worksheet is not a guaranteed return.

## H. Handoff

- Recommended next step: `[information / tailored demo / paid feasibility / proposal / defer]`
- Deliverable / owner / agreed date: `[complete]`
- Known exclusions and dependencies: `[complete]`
- Customer reviewer confirmation: `[complete]`
- Nexus reviewer confirmation: `[complete]`
- Secure CRM/project reference: `[complete]`

## Travel and partner-hosted visit

Confirm date, location, host, attendee access requirements, current route/flight details and local transfer time before travel. Remote previews can reduce unnecessary visits. O’Hare access is a location advantage, not a guarantee of a sub-three-hour trip from every U.S. origin. Dealer-hosted visits identify account ownership and follow-up responsibilities before invitations are issued.
