1. Policy Statement
Nexuscomm LLC ("Nexus," "we," "our," or "the Company") is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The Company is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
This commitment applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, applicants for employment, contractors, interns, and volunteers at all Nexus locations and project sites.
3. Prohibited Conduct
Nexus prohibits discrimination, harassment, and retaliation based on any protected class. Specifically, the Company prohibits:
- Discriminatory hiring, promotion, or compensation decisions
- Hostile work environment harassment based on any protected characteristic
- Sexual harassment of any kind — including quid pro quo and hostile environment harassment
- Retaliation against any individual who reports discrimination or participates in an investigation
- Discriminatory job advertisements, recruitment practices, or pre-employment screening
4. Affirmative Action
To the extent required by applicable law or contract (including federal contractor obligations), Nexus takes affirmative action to employ and advance in employment qualified individuals with disabilities and protected veterans. Nexus also takes affirmative action with respect to women and minorities as required by applicable law.
Employees and applicants who wish to be included under Nexus's affirmative action program are invited to self-identify voluntarily. Self-identification is confidential and will not affect any employment decision.
5. Reasonable Accommodation
Nexus will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified applicants and employees with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state laws, unless doing so would pose an undue hardship. 6. Complaint Procedure

All complaints will be investigated promptly and impartially. Nexus strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who in good faith reports a concern or participates in an investigation.
Employees may also file a charge of discrimination with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) at www.eeoc.gov or the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR).
7. Responsibility
All managers and supervisors are responsible for ensuring that employment decisions within their areas of responsibility comply with this policy. Employees who observe or experience violations are encouraged to report them without fear of retaliation.
8. Policy Review
This policy is reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in law, regulations, or Company operations.
