Commercial Comparison

Jeron vs. Rauland Nurse Call

Evaluate facility fit, migration constraints, integrations, service coverage, and lifecycle support.

Plan your project

Name the platform and care workflows

Ask the Jeron and Rauland bidders to name the exact proposed platform and devices, then map them to the same patient or resident call, staff notification, escalation, and reporting workflows. Involve clinical operations as well as facilities. Request applicable product documentation for that configuration; a manufacturer name alone does not establish suitability, listing, or interoperability for your care setting.

Treat migration as a clinical project

Inventory the installed stations, circuits, head-end equipment, power, and interfaces before accepting a reuse allowance. Have each bidder identify what can be retained, what must be replaced, and the evidence behind those assumptions. Require a phased cutover plan with clinical ownership, temporary procedures, acceptance steps, and rollback decisions so the comparison includes the work needed to maintain care operations.

Verify integrations and service coverage

Demonstrate the required notification and escalation paths, including failures, using the proposed interfaces rather than a general integration list. Compare training, closeout records, preventive maintenance scope, parts support, and the named escalation contacts in writing. Confirm who supports each interface after go-live. A defensible selection rests on witnessed workflows and a service agreement, not an unsupported assertion that either platform is universally better.
