What Nexus Installs & Manages
Every capability below is deployed, configured, and supported by Nexus as part of a single managed solution — not a self-install app.
Perimeter & Loitering Detection
AI-based person and loitering detection along building perimeters and parking areas, tuned to reduce false alerts from weather and wildlife.
License Plate Recognition (LPR)
Parking lots and drop-off lanes get vehicle recognition to flag unrecognized plates or match a watch list you control.
UniFi Access Integration
AI camera events tie directly into UniFi Access door control — an unrecognized loiterer at a side entrance can trigger a lock-down response.
Mass Notification Trigger Points
Detected threat events can be wired into existing mass notification and PA systems for a faster campus-wide response.
Visitor & Volunteer Management
AI-assisted check-in flows for schools and congregations, reducing manual sign-in friction while keeping a record of who's on campus.
NSGP Grant-Ready System Design
Camera, access control, and detection systems scoped to align with commonly eligible Nonprofit Security Grant Program categories.
How Facilities Use This Today
Multi-Building Church Campus
AI perimeter detection across three buildings with a shared parking lot, cutting nuisance alerts from squirrels and passing traffic to near zero.
K-8 School Drop-Off Lane
License plate recognition at the drop-off loop flags any vehicle not on the approved guardian list before it reaches the building entrance.
Faith Campus Security Grant Project
Camera and access control system designed to NSGP-eligible categories, supporting the congregation's grant application to Illinois state administering agency.
